Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024
Marriott International has appointed Diana Plazas-Trowbridge as its new senior vice president and global brand leader for its select service brands.
Her previous roles with Marriott were CSMO Caribbean & Latin America, vice president, owner & franchise relations — Caribbean & Latin America and vice president, brands, marketing & digital — Caribbean & Latin America.
Before that, she worked at Women Leading Travel & Hospitality, Comic Kids Org, Discover Puerto Rico, several roles with Hilton Worldwide including; director, global brand marketing and director, online marketing at Doubletree by Hilton and senior manager, search and marketing.
“Over the past eight years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the hospitality industry, and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished together. The experiences shared, the lessons learned, and the milestones we’ve achieved as a team will forever hold a special place in my heart. I deeply appreciate the trust you’ve bestowed upon me and look forward to crossing paths with many of you soon,” says Plazas-Trowbridge on her new transition.
