Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Carlson Hotels Inc. has appointed Federico González Tejera as CEO, effective Feb. 1, it was announced Jan. 26. He succeeds David Berg, who will leave the company following a brief transition period.
“David Berg led Carlson Hotels through a successful period of global portfolio growth while at the same time increasing profitability, improving competitiveness and delivering substantial gains in guest satisfaction,” said Charles Mobus, newly appointed director of the Carlson Hotels Board, in a release. “Our confidence in the future potential of Carlson Hotels is due in no small part to his efforts. Federico has an established track record and long-held experience in the hospitality industry, and we are confident in his ability to build upon this strong foundation.”
Tejera is the former CEO of NH Hotel Group and previously was a senior executive at Disneyland Paris, most recently serving as deputy GM. Prior to that, he worked at Procter & Gamble in Madrid, Brussels and Stockholm, and served as country head of Portugal.
