Atlific Hotels has made new changes to its executive leadership, promoting Philippe Gadbois to chief operating officer and Mo Darehshiri to chief financial officer.
Philippe Gadbois
Gadbois has been with Atlific for over 16 years and has played an integral role in its ongoing success. As chief operating officer, he will draw on his extensive industry experience and strive to implement one clear operational platform across the country.
He will continue to lead Atlific’s business development and work with the Walsh family and other owners in growing Atlific’s hotel footprint across the country. His previous roles at Atlific were senior vice president operations and senior vice president sales, marketing and development. Before that, he worked at Realstar Hospitality, DSP Hospitality Group and Hilton Canada Inc.
A graduate of the University of Montréal, he was vice-president of the Hotel Association of Canada. He also participates in the coordination of banners with Marriott, Hilton and IHG.
Mo Darehshiri, CPA, CA, chief financial officer
Darehshiri's previous roles with Atlific were director of finance & strategy, corporate manager, special projects and corporate accountant. He has been with Atlific for almost 11 years.
Before that, he worked at KPMG Canada. A member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, his expertise lies in financial reporting, business process improvements and project management. He oversees accounting, payroll, internal audit and special projects—and works closely with key stakeholders on the future of Atlific Hotels.
He assists in the development of strategies to engage and align the company and implement key initiatives across the portfolio. He will also be responsible for the implementation of new systems such as the company’s forthcoming accounting and management platform M3.
