Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024
Discover Saskatoon has appointed Cheryl Ranganadhan as director of business development. Ranganadhan also serves as consultant international - Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia, Asia Pacific at Capstone Esolutions, where she has worked for almost one year.
Before that, she worked at Hilton Saint John & Saint John Trade & Convention Centre, Saint John, N.B., Chelsea Hotel, Toronto, Ont., Langham Hospitality Group Chelsea Hotel Toronto, Ont., and several roles at Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort and Emirates Group. She has worked in domestic and international markets with leading brands across multiple industries — hospitality, airlines and telecommunications.
Furthermore, her dedication to serving her community is evident through past and present voluntary positions on committees with CITAP, TIAC Sports Congress, Board and co-chair of the marketing committee of Uptown Saint John BIA, Board member and treasurer of Union Club, Saint John, as she contributes to enhance the local business environment.
Her extensive participation in international trade shows, conferences and sales missions has broadened her global network, thereby gaining valuable insights into Canada’s market which she has leveraged to implement successful sales and marketing strategies.
