TORONTO — Tim Reardon, general manager of The Westin Harbour Castle, announced on March 17 the appointment of Didier Dolivet as director of operations. For more than 20 years, Dolivet has worked across the globe in the hospitality industry, with stints in France, Russia, Indonesia, England and Canada.
With a strong background in both food and beverage and rooms operation, Dolivet will lead the team in operational performance, driving the service culture and guest satisfaction. He was most recently general manager of LIV Apartments in Ottawa, a millennial-focused hospitality offering in the nation’s capital. Previously he held GM roles for Accor Hotels in different parts of the world. His international work experience includes time with Novotel hotels in Toronto, Mercure Paris la Defense, Novotel Batam, Sofitel Iris Moscow, Sofitel Orleans, Le Méridien Piccadilly, Intercontinental Mayfair London and Intercontinental Geneva.
Among his professional certifications, Dolivet is a Chevalier in the Association Internationale des Maitres Conseils en Gastronomie Francaise.
