Union Hotel, an independent lifestyle property inspired by Toronto’s diverse culture, has now opened at 60 York St. Steps from Union Station, the 189-room hotel offers a hospitality experience in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.
Locally inspired touches are woven into every detail — from design and amenities to culinary offerings and the entire guest experience. Guests can immerse themselves in the city’s theatre, sports, shopping, and culinary scenes, all within walking distance.
“Union Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a place to connect,” says Kevin Slean, general manager, Union Hotel. “Our mission is to inspire ambition, nurture courage, and empower our guests to defy convention while discovering the local neighbourhood gems this global city offers.”
Union Hotel’s design by FRANK Architecture & Interiors’ eclectic aesthetic tells the story of the city, the hotel and what it has to offer. The 12-story building has been updated with charcoal brick and expansive windows. Beyond the framed view of the interior is a thoughtfully created space with a warm palette and quirky, nostalgic details.
Through art, curated programming, elevated food and beverage offerings, the hotel invites its guests to discover Toronto and chart their own paths while here.
