Travelodge Canada is thrilled to announce the opening of its latest new property in Marathon, Ontario on Lake Superior.
The Travelodge by Wyndham Marathon increases the brand’s growing footprint in Ontario. There are more than 100 Travelodge by Wyndham and Thriftlodge branded hotels across Canada.
Opening as a stand-alone new build, the Travelodge by Wyndham Marathon began operations on Thursday, August 18th. There are currently 19 guest rooms, with an additional 28 scheduled to be added within the next 24 months once an additional phase of construction is completed.
“This new build property in Marathon, Ontario is a fabulous addition to the Travelodge by Wyndham brand,” said Trevor Hagel, executive vice president of operations, Travelodge Canada. “The close proximity of the property to Lake Superior, Pukaskwa National Park and local attractions like the popular Pebble Beach, reinforces that the Travelodge brand is the ideal Basecamp for Adventure.”
This is the second Canadian property opening for Travelodge by Wyndham brand in 2022, with several more properties scheduled to join existing operations in the coming weeks.
