Tim Ostrem is returning to property operations as a general manager with Concord Hospitality. He most recently served as regional director of operations at Hotel Equities.
Before that he held roles with Residence Inn Calgary Downtown/Beltline District, Atlific Hotels, MasterBUILT Hotels, The Algonquin Resort, Cambridge Suites Hotel Toronto, SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
“After the Residence Inn sold last year, I stepped out of property operations into a regional role. And, while I appreciated the strong culture and excellent people at Hotel Equities, I missed being in a hotel; collaborating with a team to curate unique and memorable guest experiences.
“I am pleased to share that I will be returning [Downtown] Calgary to lead an exciting new project for a great management company and exceptional owners.
“Stay tuned for the announcement.
“But first I want to share my appreciation for Martin Stitt and the entire Hotel Equities Canadian Leadership Team. I have learned more in the last few months than one could hope for in a few years. I am grateful for the opportunity given, and the [relationships] gained. I wish you all the very best of luck with continued growth and success,” writes Tim Ostrem in a social media post.
