Stella Chen appointed GM of Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Downtown
Stella Chen has been appointed general manager of Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Downtown. The 16-storey latest hotel addition to Calgary's core sits on 0.15 acres of land with 27 underground parking.
The hotel will feature a lobby workstation, fitness centre, market pantry, guest laundry room and vending areas and is slated to be completed in 2025.
Chen brings years of global hospitality experience to the role. She previously worked with Cogir Senior Living, Trico Living Well Inc. o/a Clover Living, The Westin Calgary Airport, Juniper House in the U.K. and South Africa, Standard Bank Group of South Africa, NIHI Sumba in Bali, Indonesia, Matrix Hotels, CHA International, Hilton Kuala Lumpur, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Washington D.C.
