Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024
Hotel technology specialist SHR Group has appointed Thomas Schulz and Heinrich Kessler to its executive team as it moves to expand globally.
Schulz has joined the company as chief financial officer, bringing over 25 years of experience in corporate development and M&A operations. His previous role was chief financial officer at CitiXsys, where he worked for nearly five years. Before that, he held roles at Charmetric, Brightvision, OpenText, Sitecore, Informatica, HP, LinkedIn, Deloitte, STIHL Inc. and Bosch.
Kessler has assumed the role of chief commercial officer and has over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality and hospitality technology sector. His previous role was chief commercial officer (CCO) at D‑Edge Hospitality Solutions, where he worked for nearly four years. Before that, he worked at Pegasus, Trust International and Pegasus Solutions.
