Hazelton’s Hotel’s new Spa by Valmont

The Hazelton Hotel’s Spa by Valmont located in the heart of Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood has completed its renovation project by design firm Yabu Pushelberg.

The spa was designed to articulate the evolution of wellness. This transformation includes four treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure station and steam room. The spa’s reception area, fitness centre and refreshment bar have also been updated. Additionally, the spa includes an indoor saltwater pool.

The Spa by Valmont also features the brand’s new five product Primary Collection, a microbiome-balancing line specifically designed to help prevent skin irritation.

The spa features an unparalleled aesthetic throughout, from its four treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure station and relaxing steam room area. The spa was designed to articulate the evolution of wellness by offering a warm and inviting canvas of light colours and finishes which harmoniously work together to conjure the feeling of expansiveness within the space. Additional highlights include a nature-inspired check-in area with a monolithic stone desk and warm wooden millwork; a transformed reception area punctuated with art and splashes of jewel-tone colour; a re-envisioned fitness centre area including a refreshment bar; and luxurious new seating areas alongside an indoor saltwater pool for guests to relax and socialize at a safe distance.

“The Spa by Valmont is a highlight of our hotel that offers a personalized wellness experience that is unrivalled in Toronto,” says Hani Roustom, managing director, The Hazelton Hotel. “With this incredible transformation, we are delighted to continue our
partnership with Valmont and offer an unparalleled sanctuary for our guests.”

Holiday Inn Toronto-Yorkdale to be demolished

The 372-key, 50-year-old Holiday Inn by Yorkdale will soon be demolished for a three-condo development.
