
Calgary to convert downtown office buildings to homes, hotel rooms
According to CBC News, the city of Calgary has announced its plans to convert three downtown towers into residential housing and hotel units.
Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA) has appointed Cameron Woof to its board of directors.
Woof also serves as assistant vice president, hotels & syndication at Canadian Western Bank — where he has worked for almost eight years. His role before that with the company was senior manager. Before that, he worked at GE Capital, HLT Advisory Inc. and OLG.
ORHMA is the largest provincial hospitality association in Canada. With over 4,000 members, representing more than 11,000 establishments across the province, ORHMA is uniquely positioned to represent the issues that most impact hospitality businesses in Ontario.
