
Easton's Group of Hotels acquires Four Points by Sheraton Kingston
This latest acquisition of the landmark Kingston property will be the 10th Marriott property under Easton's ownership and management.
TORONTO — Melany Hugo joins IHG as regional sales and marketing director, and Anto Vrdoljak joins the franchise development team as business development manager, Canada.
TORONTO — Melany Hugo joins InterContinental Hotels Group as regional sales and marketing director. Based in Toronto, Hugo will focus on the delivery of strategic sales and marketing solutions for IHG’s Eastern Canada hotels. Hugo is an industry advisor with over 16 years of hospitality experience in hotel sales and marketing. She first joined IHG in 2004 and was instrumental in driving business into brands such as InterContinental and Holiday Inn, as well as several independent, boutique and extended-stay properties. She most recently joins IHG from Starwood’s Toronto Metro market, where she set up the direction and strategy in business travel with the Metro market cluster.
Anto Vrdoljak joins IHG’s franchise development team as business development manager, Canada. In his new role, Vrdoljak will be working with hotel owners to identify franchise opportunities for Canadian midscale brands (Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites).
Vrdoljak joined IHG in 2013 as regional sales and marketing director, Eastern Canada, and brings over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry working in various sales and operations roles.
