Paul Boivin is a seasoned executive with over 27 years of experience leading national associations including: the International Development Research Centre, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies, the Canadian Veterinarian Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He has also served as an honorary colonel in the Canadian Army and, most recently, as an executive leadership coach.
“Our Board of Directors has moved swiftly to engage the services of a well-known executive search firm, a search committee has been appointed and the process to replace our leader is underway. We look forward to announcing a new president & CEO when our process is complete. In the meantime, in order to bridge the gap in leadership, our Board has appointed an interim president & CEO and we are delighted to introduce him,” says HAC team.
He will begin onboarding next week in order to capitalize on the overlap period between now and Susie Grynol’s departure, and he will remain in the role until a permanent president and CEO is appointed. He will work directly with HAC’s dedicated staff, board and other stakeholders to ensure continuity and to build on its momentum through the summer.
