
Calgary to convert downtown office buildings to homes, hotel rooms
According to CBC News, the city of Calgary has announced its plans to convert three downtown towers into residential housing and hotel units.
More Than 4,600 hotels across seven brands in Canada and the U.S. are now pet-friendly, with innovative support from Mars Petcare available to travellers and their pets.
As demand for travelling with pets continues to rise, a recent survey revealed that two out of three Canadians (66 per cent) are likely to travel this summer. More than half of Canadian pet owners say that health benefits are key reasons to travel with pets, including stress relief and boosting physical activity.
Hilton, and Mars Petcare are expanding their partnership across Hilton's seven pet-friendly brands: Canopy by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton. Building on their partnership established in September 2021, Hilton and Mars Petcare will now offer access to virtual support from the Mars Pet Expert Team (PET) during their stay via Mars PET On-Demand—an online service to answer questions related to travelling with a cat or dog—at more than 4,600 hotels in Hilton's portfolio across Canada and the U.S.
