Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024
Choice Hotels International made several key executive appointments aiming to position the company for future growth following its acquisition of Radisson Hotels Americas.
"Choice has always been a growth company, and that growth is now accelerating," president and CEO Patrick Pacious said in a statement. "We are a stronger company than we were just a year ago. Choice's increased scope and the breadth of our portfolio give us new avenues for growth and an opportunity to expand and improve the services we provide to our franchisees, our guests and our travel partners."
Dominic Draigisich, CFO will be promoted to executive vice president, operations and chief global brand officer. Before this, he worked at XO Communications, Marriott International, NII Holdings, Inc., Deloitte Consulting and Nike.
Scott Oaksmith, senior vice president and deputy chief financial officer will be promoted to chief financial officer. Before this, his roles were controller, assistant controller, director, finance and director, marketing and reservations, finance. He also worked at American Express Tax & Business Services (Acquired Wolpoff & Co) and Wolpoff & Company LLP.
Raul Ramirez, chief strategy and international operations officer will be promoted to chief segment and international operations officer. Before this, he held positions as SVP, head of international, corporate strategy and enterprise FP&A, SVP, international strategy and enterprise FP&A, VP, strategic finance and FP&A. He also worked at Verizon, XO Communications, NII Holdings, Inc., Nextel Telecomunicações and AT&T México.
Anna Scozzafava, senior vice president and general manager, extended stay brands will be promoted to chief strategy officer and senior vice president, technology. Before this, her roles were VP, strategy and planning, senior director, corporate strategy and planning, director, corporate strategy, manager, corporate strategy and project manager, corporate and business strategy. She also worked at Corporate Executive Board, Georgetown University and University of Pennsylvania.
