West Fraser Developments has announced the official opening of the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre, marking the first dual-branded Hyatt property in Canada.
The newly built hotel features 248 guest rooms and suites, along with more than 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Located in Mississauga’s Airport Corporate Centre district, the property is minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport and is positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers.
The development brings together two Hyatt service models under one roof. Hyatt Place offers select-service accommodations geared toward short-term stays, while Hyatt House is designed for extended-stay guests, featuring suites with kitchenettes and additional living space.
West Fraser Developments stated the project was designed to meet the needs of a diverse guest profile while also maximizing operational efficiency. The co-located format is part of a growing trend in the hotel sector, particularly in high-traffic urban and airport-adjacent areas.
The property’s location offers proximity to major highways, transit connections and business parks in the western Greater Toronto Area.
