Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

The Westin Wall Centre, Vancouver Airport has appointed Clement Chan as executive chef of its signature dining outlet, the apron. Chan, a seasoned culinary professional with nearly two decades of experience, brings innovation and leadership to the hotel's dining program.
Chan is a celebrated figure in Canada’s culinary scene, earning accolades such as “National Chef of the Year” and representing Canada on Culinary Team Canada at international events, including the World Culinary Olympics. His skills have also been showcased on television through appearances on Food Network’s Chopped Canada, Top Chef Canada, and Eat St.
Locally, Chan has shaped Vancouver's dining landscape with his work at renowned establishments like Chambar, Blue Water Cafe, and Hapa Izakaya. He co-founded Le Tigre food truck and Torafuku, ventures known for their bold flavours and creative concepts.
