Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024
The city expropriated the Downtown Eastside single-room-occupancy hotel in late 2020 to turn it into secure low-income housing.
Vancouver’s Balmoral Hotel is slated to be demolished, as reported by Canada.com. The city’s chief building official issued a recent order for the demolition of the single-room-occupancy hotel on 159 East Hastings St. due to “numerous life-safety concerns.”
