Educational hotel/luxury resort to be built in the Canadian Rockies
PAR999 Holdings Inc. will build a luxury resort in Hinton, Alta. which will also serve as a hospitality education centre, and is planning to break ground in 2023.

U Guelph School of Hospitality, Food & Tourism Management appoints Mark Holmes as interim director
The School of Hospitality, Food & Tourism Management - University of Guelph has appointed Mark Holmes as interim director.
Holmes joined the school in 2017 and has taught several courses from revenue management to service operations at the undergrad and graduate levels as well as taking on roles as hospitality and tourism MBA coordinator, and HTM undergraduate program committee co-chair, bachelor of commerce program committee member, tenure and promotion committee member, and awards committee member to name a few.
Holmes’ prior role was graduate program coordinator at Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph. Before that, he held roles at George Brown College, York University, Ryerson University (TMU), Royal Roads University, and Wendy’s.
