Tracy Douglas‑Blowers promoted to president and CEO of AHLA
The AHLA board of directors has announced, effective March 1, Tracy Douglas-Blowers will be the new president and CEO. Douglas-Blowers joined the AHLA in 2001.
As CEO, she will lead the association’s staff, working with both the AHLA and AHLA Services Corporation boards.

Tracy’s strong leadership and passion for the hospitality industry will ensure that Alberta hotels continue to prosper. Thank you to Dave Kaiser for his leadership and dedicated service over the past 17-plus years,” says Brooke Christianson, AHLA board chair.
Douglas-Blowers also works as director, membership and industry relations at AHLA; she has been with the organization for over 22 years. Before this, she worked at Volunteer Alberta, Service Plus Inns & Suites, the City of Lloydminster, and Alberta Summer Games.
