Manga Hotel Group officially commemorated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of TOOR Hotel, Toronto, part of JdV by Hyatt.
The 33-storey building includes the two level MUSE Bistro + Bar and 179 upscale rental residential units — as part of the 203 Residences, situated atop TOOR Hotel.
Altogether, TOOR Hotel offers 234 guest rooms and suites with a range of elevated amenities, including destination dining at MUSE Bistro + Bar, valet parking, a 1,500 sq. ft. fitness centre, a 2,715 sq. ft. southern terrace on the 14th floor, and an additional 1,100 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Guests and residents alike can enjoy these amenities, as well as unobstructed views of Toronto and Lake Ontario from floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the entire building.
Distinguished guests included Doug Ford, premier of Ontario, Hardeep Grewal, MPP for Brampton East, Scott Richer, Hyatt Hotels, representatives from Destination Toronto, Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA), Greater Toronto Hotel Association (GTHA) and valued community partners. The celebration featured a reception with food and drinks hosted at MUSE Bistro + Bar.
“We believe TOOR Hotel is a fantastic addition to the Garden District of Toronto. Every detail you see, from the rich textures in the lobby to the custom ‘grid of Toronto’ wallpaper in the rooms, has been chosen with care. We worked with Canadian vendors, artists, and designers to bring TOOR to life because we believe in building from within our community. This hotel is a proud example of Canadian talent shaping a distinctly Canadian hospitality experience,” says Sukhdev Toor, president and CEO, Manga Hotel Group.
The hotel is designed with style and comfort in mind, with its blend of upscale guest rooms and suites—and is the first property to open under the TOOR Hotel brand. A second location is scheduled to open next year in Soho, New York City.
