ALLISTON, Ont. — The bartending skills of members of the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association were put to the test at the Nottawasaga Inn on June 19, following the association's Annual General Meeting.
Judge Tony Elenis, a.k.a., president and CEO of ORHMA, had a difficult time choosing the winners and the runners up from the six assembled teams. The two-person team, Nigel Lucas of Superior Lodging Corp. and Jason Cheskes of Above the Line Solutions, won the cup.
Runners up were John Lettieri of Hero Certified Burger, Sylvia Biffis of Nottawasaga Inn and Nick Perpick of Fairfax Financial Holdings. Elenis said that while the cocktails from both the teams were delicious, the Lucas/Cheskes team came out ahead because they stuck to the assignment of making one cocktail. The runners up made three of them!
