Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

The St. Regis Toronto has appointed Andrea Nizzola as its hotel manager, effective April 14, 2025.
Nizzola brings over a decade of luxury hospitality experience to his new role and returns to the Marriott International family with a track record in food and beverage operations and hotel management.
Nizzola’s previous roles were hotel manager and director, food and beverage at 1 Hotels, Toronto, where he worked for over three years. He currently serves as the stammvater (president) of the EHL Alumni Toronto Community, mentoring young professionals and fostering industry collaboration.
Before that, he worked at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, Fairmont Pacific Rim, Fairmont The Palm, Dubai, Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Montreux, Suisse and Kempinski Hotel, Wuxi, China.
A Swiss hotelier and graduate of the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), he began his career with Fairmont Hotels and later joined Fairmont Pacific Rim, where he led operations at the acclaimed Lobby Lounge.
