Sheraton Gateway Hotel at Toronto International Airport, Toronto, Ont. has announced the launch of its family-themed suites.
Recognizing the challenges families face when embarking on a vacation, the hotel now offers two distinct suite offerings: Wild Wonders and Gamer Zone. Sheraton Gateway Hotel aims to redefine the family vacation experience with purposeful journeys that foster deep connection.
In the Wild Wonders Suite, children aged 3-8 are transported into a whimsical world filled with vibrant decor featuring adorable creatures. From friendly animals on the walls to a tent bed creating a snug retreat, this space invites young explorers into a delightful haven of creativity and exploration. A cozy reading nook filled with books sparks curiosity, fostering deep meaningful relationships between children and their imagination.
For older children aged 8+, the Gamer Zone Suite offers a virtual wonderland where pixels meet pillows and excitement knows no bounds. Equipped with a PS5 and access to multiple games and activities, this suite promises endless family fun and friendly competition. Keeping kids occupied and entertained while they're away from their routine makes the experience less stressful, allowing families to focus on creating lasting memories together.
“As a mother myself, I know first-hand how stressful traveling with kids can be. I believe these family suites will help keep kids busy and occupied, helping to transform the family travel experience from one of stress and anxiety to one of relaxation and enjoyment." says Jennifer Kazlauskis, director of sales and marketing at Sheraton Gateway Hotel. "We want parents to be able to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories before continuing on their journey."
In addition to the suite experiences, Sheraton Gateway elevates the kid experience with exciting programming. Upon check-in, children are greeted with a treasure chest filled with surprises, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. Throughout the year, families can indulge in themed gathering events such as a circus extravaganza with popcorn and cotton candy, letters to Santa and make-your-own hot chocolate stations.
Families staying at the hotel can take advantage of the hotel's amenities beyond the family-themed suites—such as playing in the hotel's pool. Both suites include access to the exclusive Club Lounge, where families can unwind in a refined and private setting. With complimentary breakfast buffet, evening hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages available, the Club Lounge offers a tranquil environment for families to relax and connect.
