Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has promoted Andrea Myers to senior director, membership and Mascha Belagamage to senior executive assistant.
In her new role, Myers will continue to lead the association’s membership growth, corporate governance and support its expanded events program. Her previous roles were senior communications advisor — marketing and senior communications specialist (marketing) at Public Safety Canada. Before that, she worked at SMARTNet Alliance, Green Key Global and the Algonquin College Students’ Association.
She has also held roles with HAC as director — marketing and member communications and manager — member services and communications — and is also a certified association executive (CAE) with the Canadian Society of Association Exeuctives.
In addition, Belagamage will take on expanded responsibilities to support key organizational initiatives and ensure smooth operations. Her previous role was executive assistant to president and CEO. Before that, she worked at Dassault Systèmes, Blue Monkey Tropical Collection, Parissa Laboratories Inc., Urban Barn and Flight Centre Travel Group.
