Originally opened on July 1, 1929, as the Hotel General Brock, the property has cycled through several identities over the decades, including stints as the Sheraton-Brock Hotel and, more recently, the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls – Fallsview. The relaunch restores the Brock name while introducing modern guest amenities and updated event spaces in line with contemporary brand standards.

Now operating as The Brock Niagara Falls – Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the 237-room hotel includes a mix of guestrooms and suites outfitted with mini refrigerators, coffeemakers, Wi-Fi access, and TeleAdapt ChargePorts. The renovation preserves original architectural features while modernizing infrastructure and interiors.

The hotel offers 15,000 square feet of function space, including an 8,000-square-foot grand ballroom and 11 meeting rooms with natural light. It is directly connected to Falls Avenue Resort and Casino Niagara and includes access to a fitness centre, shopping concourse, indoor pool, and business services.

On-site dining includes Prime Steakhouse, a fine-dining venue overlooking the falls, which has been rated the number-one restaurant in Niagara Falls on TripAdvisor. The hotel also features the Fallsview Tea Room, offering guests an afternoon high tea experience with panoramic views of the falls.

The hotel has played a recurring role in the cultural and civic history of Niagara Falls, having hosted dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II and appearing in films such as Niagara and The Whole Nine Yards. The relaunch is intended to position the property as a high-end, full-service option for both leisure and group travel markets.

The reopening comes amid broader investment activity across Niagara Falls’ tourism corridor, with operators modernizing offerings in response to post-pandemic travel trends and increased cross-border demand.
