Located at 80 Blue Jays Way in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District, Bisha Hotel has long been celebrated for its design-forward aesthetic and cultural significance. The property was awarded the prestigious MICHELIN One Key Award in 2024, recognizing its excellence in hospitality and unique character.
A new chapter for Bisha Hotel
Originally developed by Lifetime Developments in partnership with INK Entertainment, Bisha Hotel has become synonymous with urban luxury. The 96 oversized guest rooms and suites offer breathtaking skyline views, blending sophisticated interiors by Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge with an exclusive floor designed by Lenny Kravitz's Kravitz Design Inc..
Beyond its accommodations, the hotel is a culinary destination, featuring four distinct food and beverage outlets:
KŌST – A Baja-inspired rooftop restaurant on the 44th floor with panoramic city views.
Akira Back – The first Canadian namesake restaurant of Michelin-starred Chef Akira Back, featuring Japanese-Korean fusion cuisine.
Mister C Bar Room – A quintessential hotel lobby bar offering curated cocktails in an elegant setting.
French Made – A café serving delectable pastries, seasonal salads, and gourmet sandwiches.
The property also features a rooftop infinity pool and state-of-the-art meeting spaces with panoramic views of the city and Lake Ontario.
Integration into Marriott’s Luxury Collection
With this acquisition, Bisha Hotel Toronto joins Marriott’s exclusive Luxury Collection, a portfolio of distinctive hotels that offer authentic experiences rooted in local culture. The rebranding will take effect on March 1, 2025, with bookings available through Marriott’s platform.
Sunray Group's growing luxury portfolio
This acquisition is part of Sunray Group’s strategic expansion in Canada’s hospitality sector. The company, known for its diverse portfolio of properties across major Canadian markets, continues to invest in high-profile acquisitions. The addition of Bisha Hotel strengthens its commitment to the luxury hospitality segment.
Looking ahead
As Toronto continues to attract global travellers and local luxury seekers, the transformation of Bisha Hotel Toronto into a Luxury Collection property is expected to further elevate the city’s high-end hospitality offerings.
