Sales launched at Regal Plaza Corporate Centre
The new mixed-use business complex offers opportunities near Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The Regal Hotel Group Ltd. and SAMM Developments have launched sales at Regal Plaza Corporate Centre, which is now under construction. The $130 million, 35,650 square-foot mixed-use business complex is located at 600 Dixon Road (at Martin Grove Road) in Toronto, Ont. An add-on to the existing Holiday Inn hotel, the new facility is located next to major highways and Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The new complex will consist of an 11-storey above-grade Staybridge Inn hotel and a commercial centre, with two new underground parking levels offering 245 spots, and an atrium connecting it with the existing hotel, as well as surface parking for 279 vehicles.
According to Ali Akman, president of Toronto-based SAMM Holdings: “We can now offer businesses interested in this desirable location and array of opportunities. In the office building, there is retail and commercial space, a restaurant, and three floors of office space, so tenants and hotel guests have will everything from shopping to dining to accommodations in one place. The International Centre is close by, and those attending events there will find our complex handy. They will also have access to a 24-hour shuttle service to Toronto Pearson Airport. We call this Toronto’s premier business address because it is.”
Connecting the new building with the existing Holiday Inn hotel, the new atrium will feature skylights. This area is designed to resemble an indoor courtyard with seating areas and greenery to accommodate exhibits and business presentations. It will also encompass a breakfast area and lounge. On the ground floor, the café and retail area will serve tenants and guests of both hotels. The mezzanine and levels 2, 3 and 4 will encompass a total leasing space of 87,100 square feet of Office Condos, with 600 to 750 square-foot modules that can be combined to create larger spaces. On the penthouse level, a banquet hall will be available for large gatherings.
Floors 5 to 11 will house the new 136,464 square-foot Staybridge Inn with 193 long-stay hotel suites, more than half with a kitchenette. Guests will have access to numerous amenities including laundry facilities, an exercise room, an outdoor patio with barbecues, plus access to a swimming pool and meeting rooms.
Regal Plaza Corporate Centre will be constructed to meet the TIER‑1 Toronto Green Standard. Completion is expected for March 2024.
