Tbsp. opens at W Montreal. The Hue opens in Kamloops. Moncton's Canvas debuts Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Canada.
MONTREAL – Tbsp. is the new, Italian-inspired, market-fresh eatery at W Montreal. The official opening on November 21 gives hotel guests and professionals in the Square Victoria area a fresh lunch option as well as a new source of catered meals.
Tbsp. will serve daily-changing two-course lunch table d’hotes, with à la carte options also available. The goal is thoughtful, locally sourced, seasonal fare in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, without pretension and on a timeframe that allows patrons to enjoy their meal within the window of a regular lunch hour.
Chef Joris Larigaldie will oversee operations. Larigaldie plans dishes that include pillowy homemade gnocchi with Quebec-farmed duck confit over velvety squash purée and bright and creamy pappardelle with broccoli, spinach and crispy garlic croutons.
The wow-worthy decor was designed by Sid Lee, using Montreal’s Old Port and Lachine Canal as inspiration. Watery elements are recalled through beautiful blue marble backsplashes, while rich wood elements evoke a yacht’s decor, paying homage to the city’s port history.
