The Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA) has appointed Jasveen Rattan as director of policy and government relations effective April 1, 2024.
Rattan will report directly to the president & CEO and serve as a member of the ORHMA senior leadership team. She will be responsible for advancing ORHMA’s work with all levels of government while working collaboratively with industry partners — and will be building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders, industry owners and managers.
She is also a principal consultant at JKR Consulting, where she has worked for close to seven years. Before that, she was an MP candidate with Mississauga Streetsville and York South-Weston — and worked at the 53rd Week, University of Waterloo and Jessi Home Décor.
Rattan has consulted on tourism projects, published peer-reviewed papers in prominent tourism journals and presented at global conferences. “Jasveen has the competencies and knowledge of a dynamic leader.
