Marriott Bonvoy has announced a multi-year agreement with Live Nation Canada as its official hotel partner.
A first of its kind for Live Nation Canada in the hotel category, this strategic relationship grants Marriott Bonvoy members access to exclusive concert and stay experiences at hundreds of Live Nation-promoted shows across Canada.
Marriott Bonvoy members can gain access to once-in-a-lifetime music experiences from Marriott Bonvoy Moments, the platform where members can use points earned from travel and everyday activities to redeem exclusive packages. Dozens of Marriott Bonvoy Moments take place each year with Live Nation at venues across Canada from concerts to meet and greets, VIP viewing, artist access and more.
"According to a recent Live Nation study, over 30 per cent of Canadians have travelled at least 100 kilometers to attend a concert or festival, and over 70 percent of concertgoers who stay overnight for a live event choose to stay at a hotel," says Beatriz Fuentes, area director of marketing, Canada, Marriott International. "This natural affiliation of travel and music sits at the core of our new collaboration, and we are thrilled to partner with Live Nation Canada to offer one-of-a-kind experiences to our Marriott Bonvoy Members."
Marriott Bonvoy members can use points earned from stays at nearly 8,600 properties worldwide, with over 275 properties in Canada. Members can also earn points through everyday activities such as co-branded credit card purchases, car rentals, cruises and dining.
Redemption levels for Live Nation Canada experiences vary and will be available to Marriott Bonvoy members worldwide.
