Manga Hotel Group has appointed Haris Bokhari as general manager, Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Downtown/Beltline District.
Haris’ previous role was interim general manager at The Sutton Place Hotels, Revelstoke, B.C. — where he was recognized for improving hotel performance and market share. He also held roles as director of operations, Vancouver, B.C. and special project manager, Vancouver, B.C.
Before that, he worked at the British Columbia Hotel Association, several roles at Sandman Hotel Group, Vancouver, B.C., Tourism Richmond, Richmond, B.C., Skills Hub Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, DAMAC Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Dubai Festival City, Dubai, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Kensington, U.K. and Hilton London Metropole, London, U.K.
Haris brings over 20 years of international hospitality experience to his new role. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing guest satisfaction, developing high-performing teams, and supporting continued business growth.
