Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

Manga Hotel Group has announced the acquisition of two new hotels—Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton in downtown Calgary.
Located at Suite B - 711 4th St. S.E. Calgary, Alberta T2G 1N3 Canada—The 198-room Hilton Garden Inn and 122-room Homewood Suites share over 3,000 square feet of meeting space and a rooftop terrace with views of downtown Calgary and the Rocky Mountains.
Amenities include the Garden Grille Restaurant and Bar, fitness centre, second floor swimming pool, central interior courtyard, and underground parking. Situated in a prime location within downtown Calgary’s growing East Village neighbourhood, the 13-storey hotels are walking distance and transit-linked to the central business district connecting to the entire downtown core as well as the broader Calgary area.

Manga Hotels is one of the largest privately held hospitality companies in Canada specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of real estate. The group’s combined portfolio consists of 30 hotels with over 5,300 rooms, and an additional 1,250 rooms in the pipeline primarily located in downtown Toronto—as well as 5 high-rise residential rental developments comprising over 2,000 units, and an additional 2,200 low-rise houses in the pipeline for the Greater Toronto Area.
Colliers Hotels announced the sale on June 3rd. The transaction was completed on May 30th, 2024.
