The Kimpton Saint George Hotel and InnVest Hotels LP have appointed Sean Muir as its new general manager.
Muir’s previous role was director of rooms and also held prior roles as front office manager and director of housekeeping. With over 14 years of experience in leadership roles within the hospitality industry, he has been with the company for over six years.
Before that, Muir worked at InterContinental Toronto Centre, Hudson’s Bay Company, Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel and Marriott International. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently demonstrated profound care for his team, often going above and beyond to support front-line employees. He is a management professional with demonstrated success leading diverse staff teams through hospitality operations — and has comprehensive experience in delivering exceptional guest service, supporting cost reduction programs and leading performance enhancement among staff members.
