Susie Grynol resigns from HAC, appointed VP at Marriott International
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the resignation of Susie Grynol from her position as president and CEO, effective June 3rd, 2024

“With her strong hospitality know-how, sense of customer service and congenial personality, we’re confident Jane will successfully deliver an outstanding guest experience and lead a positive impact on the local community,” said Christiane Germain, co-president, Group Germain Hotels, in a release.
Originally from Ireland, Kingston brings two decades of hospitality experience to the Alt team, having worked in almost every area of hotel operations and management both in Europe and St. John’s, where she was general manager of a local hotel.
“The first time I visited an Alt Hotel, I simply fell in love with it — the friendly staff and the approach of how they serviced guests, combined with the unique design made me certain that it was a place I would love to be,” said Kingston in a release.
