Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

Hotel Equities has promoted Eric McCarthy-Zink to chief financial officer.
McCarthy-Zink joined the company in 2021 through its strategic partnership with The Hotel Group.
His previous role with the company was senior vice president. Before that, he worked at The Hotel Group, several roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Wyndham Worldwide. In his new role, he will oversee enterprise-wide finance and accounting. He will strategically support the firm’s partners, clients, lenders, investors, and a large internal team by providing servant leadership to ensure the firm exceeds its financial goals.
In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Hospitality Finance Professional (CHAE) through the Hospitality Finance and Technical Professionals organization.
