Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

Hotel Equities has made changes to its senior leadership team with the promotion of David Rosenberg, Peter Tziahanas and Toi Brown.

Rosenberg has been promoted to executive vice president of operations. His expertise in analytics-driven decision-making and operational efficiency has been instrumental in elevating the company's portfolio performance. He has been working with the company for nearly five years—and his previous roles were senior vice president operations and vice president operations. Before that, he worked at HP Hotels, Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta, FG Management, The Westin New Orleans and Noble Investment Group.
Tziahanas has also been promoted to executive vice president of operations. He has has driven performance and heightened engagement with HE’s stakeholders at all levels. His previous role was senior vice president operations—and he has worked with the company for nearly three years. Before that, he worked at Pivot Hotels & Resorts, HRI Lodging / Holston House, Atrium Hospitality, John Q Hammons, Highgate Hotels, Noble Investment Group and Winegardner & Hammons.
Toi Brown has been promoted to senior vice president of human resources. Brown has led various initiatives for HE and has been working with them for nearly seven years. Her previous role was human resources business partner. Before that, she worked at Jamestown, Engage (US,) Jackson Pierce Public Affairs and Georgia Piedmont Technical College (formerly DeKalb Technical College.) She is also a member of both the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
