Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary
W Calgary, JW Marriott and Autograph Collection hotel to anchor landmark $1.47B development in Culture + Entertainment District
Hotel Equities (HE) has assumed management of the DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown, Alta.
“This hotel is in an excellent location from a management and operations perspective,” said SVP of business development, Ryan McRae. “With HE’s regional Canadian offices in Edmonton, the DoubleTree will have access to industry-leading support and resources provided by our team of experts.”

The DoubleTree Edmonton is a meeting and events hub, equipped with 910 square meters of total event space and 8 meeting rooms. The hotel totals 255 upscale guest rooms.
The DoubleTree Edmonton Downtown is blocks from Edmonton Arts District, home to Winspear Centre Events, the Royal Alberta Museum, and the Art Gallery of Alberta. The hotel is a half-kilometer from Edmonton Convention Centre, with Rogers Place and the Edmonton ICE District within walking distance or easy access from the soon to open new LR line and stop at the hotel. Amenities include a complete fitness centre, hot tub, 24-hour gift shop, and the famous DoubleTree warm welcome cookie.
