Garrett Turta, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts receives lifetime achievement award
Garrett Turta, general manager of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has received the Hotelier Lifetime Achievement award from Explore Edmonton Corporation, Edmonton Destination, and Marketing Hotels Ltd.
Turta has worked within the Fairmont group of hotels for close to 25 years, with roles at The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Fairmont St. Andrews Scotland, The Fairmont Algonquin. He also served as president of the Charlotte Coastal Regional Tourism Association from 2008 to 2010.
Turta began his career in hospitality in 1997 as night manager for Pan Pacific Hotel Group.
