Destination Canada partners with TED to draw travellers to Canada
The talks will be shared with the public on TED.com starting in the spring.
TED Conferences Canada co-creators Destination Canada and Gloria Loree hosted their first TED x Destination Canada conference in New York City recently. The event included 14 Canadian thinkers and change-makers. The narratives reflected how the people, places, and perspectives of our country naturally inspire and support thinking as expansive as our land. The theme of the event was OPEN.
“We have worked to fill the TED theatre with a diverse group of leaders and thinkers from around the world to inspire a far-reaching, global conversation. We aspire to impact how the world views our country and drive the next wave of changemakers in Canada to reach beyond the parameters of today, to imagine the potential of tomorrow,” says the team at Destination Canada.
