Second-generation executives to lead national expansion of family-owned hospitality brand
Destination BC has appointed Ingrid Jarrett as its chair of its board of directors, effective August 1, 2025.
This announcement follows the official Order in Council (OIC) issued by the Province of B.C., and marks a new chapter in the organization’s ongoing efforts to support the continued growth and success of the tourism industry in British Columbia.
Jarrett’s prior role was president and CEO at British Columbia Hotel Association, where she worked for over 25 years. Before that, she was a principal at IJ management consulting. She also worked at Canadian Vacation Ownership Association (CVOA,) The Royal Kelowna, B.C., Watermark Beach Resort, Osoyoos, B.C., several roles at Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, BC Hotel Association Board, Ingrid Jarrett Management, Boutique Hotels and Resorts of BC, Cove Lakeside Resort, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Tourism Victoria, B.C., Fairmont Express and Fairmont Empress.
