Colliers Hotels has confirmed the sale of the 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa-West, marking a significant transaction in one of the country’s most active real estate markets.
Opened in 2021, the property is among the newest additions to Ottawa’s hotel landscape and reflects the latest Hampton Inn & Suites design standards. The hotel is located in the city’s west end, a growing corridor with ongoing infrastructure, commercial and residential development.
Details regarding the buyer, sale price or terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Colliers described the asset as well-positioned to benefit from Ottawa’s development momentum. “Ideally situated in one of Canada’s most sought-after real estate investment markets, the hotel benefits from significant momentum in Ottawa,” writes Jessi Carrier, senior vice president, Colliers Hotels in an announcement regarding the sale.
Ottawa’s hotel market has continued to rebound following pandemic-related slowdowns, driven in part by increased government activity, domestic travel and expanding urban development.
