Christopher Ashby has been appointed director of commercial operations at Chelsea Hotel Toronto. Ashby will be responsible for aligning the sales, marketing, and revenue departments to achieve optimal financial performance.

A hotel industry veteran, Ashby most recently acted as the director of sales and marketing for the Old Mill Toronto Hotel. Before that, he held roles at Dymon Group of Companies, Marriott International, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto, InterContinental Hotels Group, The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto, ARC THE.HOTEL, Windsor Arms Hotel Toronto, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, and Hotel Intercontinental Toronto.
