The Calgary Hotel Association has appointed new board directors: James Scott, Anisha Patel and Heather Hamilton.

Scott is currently senior vice president, planning & development at PBA Group of Companies—where he has worked for close to nine years. He is also a board member at Calgary Subdivison & Development Appeal Board—and has held roles with PBA as senior vice president, corporate development, vice president, corporate development, vice president, operations and vice president, planning.
His previous role was citizen member at Calgary Planning Commission. Before that, he worked at Stantec and Three Sisters Mountain Village, Ltd. Patel currently works at Courtyard by Marriott Calgary Airport & Residence Inn. Furthermore, Hamilton is currently senior vice president, hotels at Pomeroy Lodging—where she has worked for almost six years. She has also held roles as vice president, sales and marketing and vice president, sales. Before that, she worked at SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts.
