Ingrid Jarrett named Business Woman of the Year at BC Tourism Industry Conference
The BC Tourism Industry Conference has recognized Ingrid Jarrett, president and CEO, British Columbia Hotel Association (BCHA) as Business Woman of the Year this month.
This award honours the accomplishments, professional expertise, and leadership of exceptional women who make indispensable contributions to the industry.
Jarrett has been working with BCHA for nearly five years, and has also been principal of IJ Management Consulting for over 18 years. Her previous role was president and CEO at Canadian Vacation Ownership Association (CVOA,) where she worked for over a year.
Before that, she worked at The Royal Kelowna, B.C., Watermark Beach Resort, several roles with the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, Boutique Hotels and Resorts of BC, Cove Lakeside Resort, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Tourism Victoria and Fairmont Empress.
