BCHA appoints Michael Macleod as lead of premier partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
BC Hotel Association (BCHA) has appointed Michael Macleod as its lead of premier partnerships, sponsorships and advertising.
Macleod will also work this role for the Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA,) elevating his role as an ambassador for both provinces. With this transition, he aims to forge deeper connections between the association’s and its allied members, enriching engagement platforms and amplifying the value proposition for all stakeholders involved.
His previous roles with BCHA were director of operations and director, members and business development — and he has been with the company for almost four years. Before that, he worked at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre, Sun Peaks, B.C., Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Gateway, Colo., Bellstar Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels — San Diego Metro Market, S.D., Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa, Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina and Golf BC/Furry Creek Golf & CC.
