Basecamp Resorts has opened its third location in Revelstoke, B.C., Northwinds Hotel Revelstoke.
Nestled amongst the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges, Northwinds Hotel Revelstoke boasts 57 guest rooms and offers travellers an inviting place to unwind and recharge — five minutes from downtown Revelstoke’s shopping, dining and entertainment scene and 15 minutes from the world-famous Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Each room is thoughtfully equipped with premium linens, spacious living areas, a mini-fridge, coffee maker and locally crafted bath products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Formerly “Days Inn Revelstoke,” Basecamp Resorts has spent the past several months renovating and revamping the property to create comfortable, modern and affordable accommodations with the brand’s signature amenities and cozy nature-inspired aesthetic.
The hotel also offers the convenience of pet-friendly accommodations, ski shuttle services, virtual check-in and a full-service front desk — along with complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning and ample parking. A revamped rooftop area with a communal hot tub, seating areas and stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges is opening in late Fall.
“Revelstoke is one of Canada’s most spectacular mountain destinations and we are thrilled to be opening our third hotel property in this dynamic town, to host those seeking to enjoy everything it has to offer from the culture and restaurants in downtown, the beautiful scenery all around to the wide variety of outdoor adventures available,” says Sky McLean, founder and CEO, Basecamp Resorts. "At Basecamp Resorts our mission is to provide a range of modern accommodations options to suit different budgets so that everyone has the opportunity to experience Canada’s mountain life.”
