“I’m thrilled to share I will be opening Nobu Hotel Toronto & Restaurant, introducing the world's most recognized and acclaimed restaurant brand to Canada where I will lead marketing and communications for the first integrated Nobu Hotel, Restaurant & Residences in the world.

“Over the last decade I've been fortunate to open and introduce some of the world's leading luxury hotel brands to Canada (Four Seasons, St. Regis & W Hotels) and I'm elated to add Nobu to this list.

“Founded by internationally-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Academy Award winner Robert De Niro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, Nobu Hospitality blends modern luxury and minimal Japanese tradition with the energy of a lifestyle hotel. Rising 45-storeys in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District and Toronto International Film Festival, the 36-suite luxury hotel will mark Nobu Hospitality's Canadian debut and become Toronto’s most exclusive luxury-lifestyle hotel along with the highly anticipated arrival of a 15,000 sq ft, two-level Nobu Toronto restaurant featuring a separate bar & lounge, two private dining rooms, sushi counter and outdoor terrace.

“Opening in 2024, Nobu Toronto is situated above the historic Pilkington Glass Factory with two dramatic residential towers by Madison Group of Companies, featuring 660 sold out residential units with the hotel located atop the west tower offering dazzling panoramic views of the city and Lake Ontario,” said Marconi.
