Truman and Marriott to bring three high‑profile hotel brands to Calgary

The Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) has appointed three new board members—Josh Solomon, regional director of operations, Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Ryan Cochrane, director of operations, MasterBUILT Hotels and Nuwan E. Eparatchy, area director, Lake Louise Inn & Atlific Hotels.
Solomon has been working with Crescent Hotels & Resorts for nearly two years, and his previous role was general manager at Staybridge Suites Hotels, Edmonton, Alta. Before that, he worked at Renaissance Hotel Edmonton International Airport, Matrix Hotel, Edmonton, Alta., Metterra Hotel and Varscona Hotels, Edmonton, Alta. and Metterra Hotel on Whyte.
Cochrane has been working with MasterBUILT Hotels for over 10 years working several roles: including operations manager, manager of hospitality operations and general manager. Before that, he worked at Holloway Lodging Corporation, Alta. and B.C., D.P. Murphy Hotels and Resorts, P.E.I. and Stanley Bridge Country Resort & Conference Centre, Cavendish, P.E.I.
Eparatchy has been working with Atlific Hotels for over 11 years and has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.His previous roles with Atlific were general manager, Lake Louise Inn, Lake Louise, Alta., general manager, Merit Hotel & Suites, Fort McMurray, Alta. and general manager, Vantage Inn & Suites, Fort McMurray, Alta.
